DIRECTIONS TO KIRKWOOD SOCCER COMPLEX
1220 RIVER ROAD/ROUTE 9
NEW CASTLE, DE 19720

1. Cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge on I-295 SOUTH. Move into one of the two LEFT hand lanes after the toll plaza and follow I-295 SOUTH TO I-95 SOUTH.
2. Follow I-95 SOUTH approx 3 miles to Exit 4A, the exit for Routes 1 & 7 SOUTH / Mall Road / Dover / Beaches.
3. Follow Route 1 SOUTH past the mall to Exit 156B, a LEFT LANE EXIT for Route 13 NORTH / Wilmington.
4. On the exit ramp, keep to the LEFT for Route 13 NORTH towards Wilmington.
5. Follow Route 13 NORTH approximately 1.5 miles to Federal School Lane.
6. Turn RIGHT and follow Federal School Lane to the dead end then turn LEFT onto River Road (Route 9).   The KSC Soccer Complex is just ahead on the left.

1. Cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge moving to the right side of the toll plaza and keep right after tolls. Take the exit for Route 9 SOUTH-New Castle, just past the toll plaza.
2. Approximately 2.4 miles south of the bridge, bear right onto Rt 273 and follow it (past Walgreens) to the second light and turn LEFT onto Washington Street (at the intersection with Route 141, leaving Route 273 - big church on far right)
3. continues RIGHT as that street ends at a 3-way stop.
4. Kirkwood Soccer Complex is on the right about 3 miles south of the last turn.   WATCH YOUR SPEED ON THIS ROAD.

• Follow I-95 SOUTH approx 3 miles to Exit 4A, the exit for Routes 1 & 7 SOUTH / Mall Road / Dover / Beaches.
• Take Route 1 South to Exit 152 for Rt 13 South & 72 / Delaware City / St Georges
• Turn left at the light at the end of the exit ramp
• At the second stop light, turn right onto Route 13 South
• Aproximately 1 mile south, take a left off Rt 13 South onto Cox Neck Road. Gunning Bedford School is located 2 miles ahead on the left.

• Follow I-95 SOUTH to Exit 4A, the exit for Routes 1 & 7 SOUTH and Christiana Mall Road

1. Take Route 9 SOUTH from the Kirkwood Soccer Complex to the traffic light at the refinery.
2. Turn LEFT at the light, staying on Route 9 SOUTH, towards Delaware City. The fields are approx. 3.5 miles ahead on the left. The fields are visible from the road. Exit Route 9, bearing to the RIGHT, before the bridge. You will pass under the Reedy Point Bridge to get to the parking area. Parking will be on your left. The only parking available to the soccer teams will be the large lot that is marked.
